It is native to Asia and can grow to 7 meters or 22 feet in height.
Its fragrant flowers are borne in clusters containing up to eight flowers at the tips of the branches. It can be found often in response to rain but is most common from late winter to late spring.
It is planted for ornamental and medicinal purposes and along honey bee farms. The honey gathered from these bee hive colonies has a tangy sweet orange undertone.
Other common names include Orange Jessamine in English, Kamini in Hindi and Kunti in Marathi.”
