| Mangrove Pitta is a star attraction for birdwatchers!
It is difficult to spot through the dense mangrove forest at #Sundarbans, a Grow-Trees.com project site. It is found in coastal mangroves, along tidal rivers and freshwater swamp forest. It feeds on creatures found in the drier mud at the bases of mangroves. It is classified as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red List. |
