The World Environment day theme this year was-Connect with Nature, with the host country Canada conducting a spate of events to raise awareness and allow citizens to participate meaningfully in the celebration of Nature. Here is what Grow-Trees.com was up to this World Environment Day!

This World Environment Day Grow-Trees.com joined hands with Crossword, Yamaha and Citizen Watches to raise awareness about the need for trees, and gave its Customers and Employees respectively the opportunity to plant trees with Grow-Trees.com.
Crossword
Crossword in association with Grow- Trees.com celebrated World Environment Day, 2017 with the theme —Look After the Environment That Looks After Us.
The event took place across 10 leading Crossword Stores in Mumbai and was promoted digitally on Crossword’s social media pages with the hashtag #LetItGrow.
The first 200 Crossword Customers were given the opportunity to give a missed call to a designated number. In return, Grow-Trees.com planted a tree on the Customer’s behalf. An eTreeCertificate was issued to the Customer which acknowledged their support of World Environment Day. Through this eTreeCertificate Customers can track their tree and status online on Grow Trees website. This activity was conducted across 10 Crossword stores across the city of Mumbai!
Yamaha
Yamaha collaborated with Grow-Trees.com for an in-house drive amongst its Employees to plant trees and create more awareness on environment and its impact on society.
Promoting the idea that environment preservation is everybody’s responsibility, Yamaha encouraged its employees to plant trees via Grow-Trees.com trees restoring and improving the ecological balance. The drive was welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm by the employees and they contributed wholeheartedly to this noble cause.
Citizen Watches
Citizen is running a World Environment Day Campaign (5th June-30th June, 2017) with Grow-Trees.com to plant a tree for every customer purchasing a watch from the Eco-Drive collection.
Every customer will be sent an eTreeCertificate on buying an Eco-Drive watch up until the end of the month.
