“Oak Alley Plantation, a National Historic Landmark in USA, has a unique alley of trees!
This historic plantation is located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Louisiana, USA. It is named for its unique visual feature, an alley or canopied path created by a double row of southern live oak trees about 240 meters or around 800 feet long. These oak trees were planted in the early 1700’s, long before the present house was built. This tree pathway runs between the home and the river.
The allure of Oak Alley Plantation regularly draws celebrities and other VIPs who come to tour the plantation first-hand.”
