It is located in Bahrain, estimated to be 400 years old and is around 32 feet in height.
It is a local tourist attraction as it is the only major tree growing in the area. Around 50,000 tourists visit it each year.
This particular tree species is well adapted to arid environments and known to have one of the deepest root systems. It is the national tree of UAE, the state tree of Rajasthan, India and also referred to as the ‘Golden Tree of the Indian deserts’.”
