“Indian willow sheds its leaves at the end of monsoon.

It grows in forests, near swamps and streams. It can grow up to 25 meters or 82 feet and flowers from December to March.

It’s yellow flowers are considered delicious and eaten in some parts of India. In traditional medicine, the bark is used to treat fever and dried leaves to treat rheumatism, epilepsy, swelling and piles.”
