“Phalsa is native to parts of South Asia.

It can reach 8 meters or 26 feet in height. Its fruit is edible and resembles a blueberry. It is used in making juices, syrups and in bakery products.

It is mainly cultivated for its fruits sold during summer. In traditional medicine, it is used to treat rheumatism, cure inflammation and fever.”
