It is located in Minnesota, USA and was named one of the five best hikes in America by Readers Digest in May 2005. The trail is routed along the ridgeline of Lake Superior and is around 300 miles or 482 kms long. At its lowest point, it goes along the lakeshore, which is 602 feet above sea level. At its highest point, the trail is 1750 feet above sea level and more than 1000 feet above Lake Superior.
Some highlights include rushing waterfalls, abundant wildlife and glorious wild flowers. It’s a long trail but you will be granted incredible beauty as you work your way up.
