“Experience the winter sunrise at Campigna National Park in Italy!
This tree trail path is just beautiful during a winter sunrise. It might not be the easiest of paths as it is covered with so much snow but it sure looks like a dream.
It is one of the most important historical forests in Italy and covers an area of about 368 square kilometres. You can find centuries-old pinewoods, woods of beech and mountain maple, mixed woodland with incredible varieties of species that create a rainbow splash of colour in autumn.
Visitors can have pleasant excursions on foot, mountain bike, horseback or cross-country skis and ski mountaineering in winter.
These activities along with the charm of snow covered trails and of the frost embroidered on the twisted beech trees attract visitors to enjoy this ‘sea of trees’ called Campigna in the heart of winter.
